Sales Representative

Summary

The Sales Representative functions with a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for supporting sales activities for Toyoda Gosei (TG) North America Corporation (TGNA), and TG AMCs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage orders from customers and coordinate with AMC team members
  • Prepare, submit, and negotiate pricing for pre-production and prototype orders
  • Diligently track and record all orders and quotes in the appropriate worksheets and systems
  • Manage open issues with AMCs and external customers including ordering, quality, and delivery
  • work cross-functionally to coordinate pre-production and prototype concerns with the customers
  • drive optimization by being actively engaged in continuous improvement efforts
  • function in a highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork is critical to success

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical discipline preferred
  • Experience in a sales or similar business role considered in lieu of degree; automotive related industry preferred
  • Ability to serve multiple clients and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suites 2016/Windows 10 Enterprise or equivalent is required
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines is required
  • Effective verbal, non-verbal, negotiation and written communication skills are required
  • Ability to sustain a high degree of professionalism in interacting with internal and external customers is required
  • Effective attention to detail, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills is required
